Katie is married to a Police Lieutenant in Lexington and their daughter is Maddison Stratton, who will be transitioning to collegiate archery this year. She is the coordinator for the Central Kentucky Region and this year, will serve as the overall Director for Kentucky's multiple region.
She is the secretary/treasurer of Anderson Archery, Inc., is a level 3 USA Archery Coach, Level 2 USA Archery Trainer, Level 1 USA Archery Official, and Level 1 4-H archery coach.
"There is a moment every coach waits for—not when the arrow hits the center, but when an archer stops looking back at you to see if they did it right. Growth is the stillness in their stance when they realize the power to hit the mark was in their hands all along," she said.
